Recreating the African aviation of the early 1920's, the Crete 2 Cape Vintage Air Rally follows in the slipstream of the early pioneers. Departing from Sitia in Crete it reached Cape Town five weeks later after crossing the whole of Africa including Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and finally reaching South Africa.
